Something Sweet Announces Their 2016 Valentine’s Day Menu

Something Sweet Dessert Café will serve brunch from 10 – 2 on Sunday, February 14, 2016. We will then serve a special Prix Fixe Menu from 4 – 9:30.

Chef’s choice- A fantastical teaser to delight the appetite and begin the meal.

APPETIZER CHOICES

Mushroom Bread Pudding
The luxurious flavor of wild mushrooms sautéed in cream and tossed with buttery toast. Baked until golden and crispy with a warm silken interior.
Savory Crepe La Tour
Thin buttery crepes layered with a whipped ricotta and basil pesto spread, stacked into a tower. Garnished with crispy fried prosciutto.
Wonton Baskets
Crispy baked wonton baskets filled with a ginger sesame slaw and crowned with soy glazed spicy shrimp.
Meatball Caprese Brochettes
Skewers of mini house-made meatballs, fresh mozzarella, heirloom baby tomato and fresh basil. Drizzled with balsamic reduction.

ENTRÉE CHOICES

Risotto a La Milanese
A rich creamy parmesan risotto made golden with saffron. Served al dente, accompanied by grilled asparagus.
Sage & Pancetta Chicken
A lightly floured chicken breast enveloped by fresh sage and pancetta, baked until crispy. Served with a luscious Romano polenta and bundle of haricot verts (thin string beans).
Honey Garlic Brined Pork Loin
Roasted pork loin brined in a mixture of honey, garlic, ginger and citrus. Offered with a medley of honey chipotle roasted vegetables (Carrots, parsnips and potatoes.)
Coconut Salmon
Oven roasted Salmon accompanied by a sticky coconut jasmine rice, crispy kale and roasted sweet potatoes.

DESSERT CHOICES

Something Sweet Quartet
Pistachio mousse, pistachio crunch, cherry compote and dulce de leche. Served with cat’s tongue cookies.
Cinnamon Brown Sugar Ice Cream
Velvety cinnamon spiced ice cream drizzled with dulce de leche and topped with chocolate walnut brownie bits.
Peanut Butter Banana Cake
Rich chocolate cake layered with peanut butter mousse, bruleed bananas and a peanut crumble.
Love Bomb
An airy vanilla mousse layered with strawberry compote and vanilla sponge cake.
